Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

This Refund Policy outlines the terms for cancellations, refunds, and deposits for services provided by 10 Dyslexia and Literacy.
1. Deposits
•    A deposit equal to one session fee is required to secure your booking.
•    This deposit is non‑refundable if all future sessions are cancelled by the client.
•    The deposit will be deducted from the final session fee when the block of sessions is completed.

2. Cancellations

•Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non‑refundable and will be charged in full.
• If I need to cancel a session, it will be rescheduled or refunded in full.

•Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

4. Refunds for Pre‑Paid Sessions

I understand that unexpected situations can arise. Therefore:
•    Each client is permitted one emergency cancellation per booking block (e.g., per set of pre‑paid sessions).
•    This emergency cancellation will be refunded in full or rescheduled at no additional cost.
•    Any further short‑notice cancellations will be charged in full.

5. Screening and Assessment Refunds

Dyslexia Screening
•    Refunds are available only if the screening has not yet taken place.
•    Once the screening session has begun, no refund can be issued.
Full Dyslexia Assessments (when launched)
•    A non‑refundable deposit may be required to secure the assessment date.
•    Refunds are available only if cancelled more than 7 days before the assessment.
•    Once assessment materials have been prepared or the assessment has begun, no refund can be issued.

• Digital downloads or emailed resources are non‑refundable once delivered.
